In the first shot of the video, we see a woman entering a house through the reflection of a mirror. Beneath the mirror is a desk with a lamp, clock, and key bowl. The clock says 6:10, and between the bright sky shining in through the windows and the lamp being on, (suggesting it was recently dark,) we can tell it’s 6:10 in the morning. In the next shot we see the woman putting her car keys in the key bowl, indicating that she’s just driven home, most likely from work. From this we can infer she has a job that requires her to work into the early morning. We see her walking upstairs to a room, then turning on a lamp next to a sleeping girl in bed, waking her up, probably to get ready for school. This girl is probably her daughter. She smiles and hands her daughter her glasses, showing that she takes care of her family’s needs even after a long night at work, is happy to do it, and is appreciated by her family because of it. Then we cut to her making toast and stirring something in a pan, making breakfast for her family, taking further care of them. A man of similar age to the woman walks in looking contented and they smile at each other, again showing a relation built on mutual love and appreciation. In the next shot she is ironing clothes, then a young man, probably her son, walks up to her and kisses her on the cheek, again reaffirming the theme of love and appreciation. After that, she is looking at a letter of some sort, slightly shaking her head and with a small frown, possibly of frustration or confusion. Her husband is in the kitchen across from her with a tablet. He hands her the tablet and sits across the table from her, wanting to help her with what she’s doing. The tablet is on the website aceyouretirement.org, and says “Did you know the longer you wait to start collecting your Social Security the larger your monthly check could be?” which suggests what she is doing has to do with her family’s finances, and likely her retirement. She smiles and nods, indicating this is helpful advice to her current situation.

The case of animal experimentation begins with benefits for humanity, but is it morally acceptable to harm animals. From the beginning of science, the method of animal testing has always been in medical studies. However, today, people do not seem to agree with the continuation of the experiments. The true horror of animal experimentation has leaked out into the world, finally getting some backlash.

The feeling of being locked up in a cage for hours poked and prodded, animals have to live with this for their whole lives because of us. Animal experimentation is something we can stop from happening. Through day to day life, animals are torched for the sake of human health. Although, humans do not have the same physiology as animals.

The first frame of the video I have chosen is a still frame shot. The still frame shot is filmed from a high angle looking down upon a film production set. The film production set that is in the shot has two leather chairs, a rug, a lamp, a blue background that is hung up by professional equipment, and professional lighting that is hung above the shot. There is text overtop of the above shot of the film production set. The text is in white bold letters, in the center of the image, and it says “Some young adults are not ready to get the Covid-19 vaccine.”

0:04-0:05

The next shot is a side camera angle of the film production set that is facing one of the leather chairs that is on the set. This shot is now eye level, a close up, and shot over the other chair on the set where a piece of someone else’s shoulder and head is in the bottom right corner of the shot. The man who is in frame and is sitting on the chair is talking. He is talking about the vaccine and looks concerned. The camera then cuts to the same exact shot on the other side of the set. This shot is now filmed over the shoulder of the man who was just speaking and is pointed at the other man who is sitting in the other leather chair that is on set.The man who is in the frame now says something in response to the first man and he looks like he genuinely cares about what the first man is saying about the vaccine.

0:06-0:07

The camera cuts to a wide shot of both of the men in the frame. The men are sitting on the film production set, in the leather chairs that are turned towards each other. The men are having a conversation about the vaccine. The first man is skeptical of the vaccine. The first man makes a statement that questions the reliability of the vaccine.

0:07-0:15

Throughout these few seconds the shots continue to cut back and forth to the over the shoulder angle of the men in the chairs when they are speaking. In between the side angle shots, there is the occasional wide angle shot where both the men are in frame sitting in the leather chairs. While these cuts between the side angle shots and the wide angle shots are happening, the men continue their conversation. After expressing his concerns about the vaccine, the first man says in the conversation to the other man “Well what do you want me to do?” This results in the other man to respond passionately and emotionally to the first man’s question. The second man explains to the first man that he wants him to get the vaccine because he cares about him and wants him to be safe. The second man looks very concerned when he speaks to the other man.

0:15-0:25

The camera continues to only cut between the over the shoulder shots in these couple of seconds. During these next seconds, the second man says to the first man that if he were to die it would kill him. When the second man says this he is very emotional and there are visible tears on his face and the shot lingers on the second man and slow piano music begins to play.. The second man does not want the other man to die and is urging him to get the vaccine. The first man is affected by his friend’s concern for his life and he sighs, seems to relax, and starts to see the situation from his friend’s point of view. After the first man sighs, he says “If it made you feel that way bro, I’ll probably do it.”

0:25-0:28

The camera changes to a shaky hand held close up shot and shows both of the men coming together in a hug. Their conversation fades out as the piano music increases in volume. Words appear on the middle of the screen over the image of their hug. These words are in the same type as the beginning words and they say “Let’s make an informed decision. Together.” The words “I love you.” are spoken by both men while they are embraced in the hug and patting each other on their backs.

0:28-0:30

The last frame is a still shot at eye level of the film production set. The chairs are empty now and there is no one visible on the set. Text appears over this shot and the website “getvaccineanswers.org” is placed in the middle of the screen.

The video starts with an African American family holding lots of baby stuff exiting a house, which the audience believes is theirs. The family seems to be in a rush exiting the house with nothing organized. The mother is carrying juice in one hand, while the other is holding a child. The father has a bunch of toys in his hands and a stroller, while the other child is right behind him.
It seems to me this family is rushing out of the house to go somewhere. The house they are walking out of is most likely theirs with the number of toys the family is seen carrying.
The parents are also seen looking up to the left, but it is unknown what exactly they are examining. The faces of both parents indicate that they are exhausted, even though they had just exited the house. Although, the kids seem to be happy or excited.

The shot is viewed from a lower perspective, but not on the ground.

0:04 – 0:09

The video continues as the parents struggle to hold all of the supplies. The older toddler begins to tug on one of the toys in the father’s arm, begging him to hurry up. The father starts to lose his grip on the supplies he is carrying but did not drop a single item. Of course, now the mother begins to struggle with everything she is holding. The mother begins to try and help the father hold on to all of the supplies while keeping all of the stuff in her hands from falling.

0:09 – 0:14

The struggle continues as the parents try to gather all the toys and their children to where they are walking. The father is now trying to snack on a bagel while continuing to carry all of the supplies. The father also had to grab a stuffed animal since he dropped it on the ground.

0:14 – 0:21

The family finally makes it to the car. The mother places her drink on the top of the car, to have another hand to help get the kids seated in the car. The father is buckling the older child, while the mother is handling the younger one. The father starts to have a relieved look on his face that the kids are finally in their seats.

0:21 – 0:24

The next scene shows the older child in the car seat tossing food, which looks like cereal, into the air with a smile on their face. The father is starting to look frustrated. The camera then shows the mother on the other side of the car buckling in the younger child.

One of the children is facing the front of the car and the other child, younger, is facing the rear of the car.

The last scene of the video shows the family is finally ready to hit the road.

0:24 – 0:26

After those moments, the screen turns blue and the logo for the NHTSA appears. It is a car commercial about the safety of your children. The whole video depicts that even in the crazy moments in life, the car seats will protect your family whenever you need them.

The sport of powerlifting should be introduced and made available to children and adolescents in every school, as it would largely benefit the health and lifestyle of the students. Strength training, the primary focus in the sport of powerlifting, is known to be exceedingly beneficial to children and adolescents, along with having an vastly low injury rate compared to the notoriously heavy contact sports available in nearly all schools across the country. One major advantage of the sport of powerlifting is how almost every variable can be controlled and manipulated, unlike the popular heavy contact sports where the weather, other players, coaches, and other variables cannot be completely controlled. Introducing this sport to children and adolescents as early as possible will help grow powerlifting into more of a mainstream sport, which will not only inevitably contribute to the growth of powerlifting, but the strength, health, and overall fitness of the individuals who train it.

The safety of an athlete is no less important than the benefits derived from the activity. A heavy contact sport could improve the health and athleticism of an athlete in ways they would have never anticipated, yet one unfortunate, yet sadly common injury due to a bad tackle could end their athletic career then and there. It is crucial for an athlete to examine and carefully calculate the opportunity risks of each form of exercise made available to them so they may progress in their desired categories in a sustainable manner.

The unborn offspring of a women is called a fetus and many people have opinions on the life of fetus. A woman may be expected to carry the fetus to term and give birth to a child is one opinion about the continuance of the fetus. Another opinion about how the journey of the fetus is continued is terminating the pregnancy. Termination of the fetus by removal is called abortion. The vast majority of abortions result from unplanned pregnancies’ and the fetus becomes unwanted by the women carrying the unborn offspring. Both opinions of the continuance of the fetus believe that cutting down on unplanned pregnancies and thus lowering rate of abortions would be beneficial to women. Preventing unwanted pregnancies and lowering the rate of abortions would require more access to contraceptives and more safe sex education for women.

Imagine you are walking down the street, someone thrusts a plant into your arms and says “You need to take care of this plant otherwise it will die.” Now you have a large responsibility that you did not expect to enter your life. You may not have the space for the plant or enough money to be able to feed it. You may have people in your life that are allergic to the plant or you do not have enough time in your day to water this plant. This situation can happen to people, but rather then a plant being thrust upon someone it can be a unexpected pregnancy. Someone can have the option of throwing out the plant and carrying on with their life. This can be paralleled with abortion in a women. Women have the option of terminating their pregnancy. One side may say that throwing the plant away is cruel and heartless. The other side would argue that keeping the plant would make the women’s life worse. A solution to help both sides is get rid of the person who hands you the plant in the first place. So to get rid of the person who hands you the plant would relate to abortion by lowering the rate of unexpected pregnancies. A solution that could help everyone involved with the argument on abortion is lowering the rate of unplanned pregnancies by having access to contraceptives and safe sex education for women.

Invasive species have been a problem since the introduction of trade and transportation, which had unanticipated consequences and long-term effects that have been ignored around the world. Such as the diseased-ridden rats traveling from the silk road that caused the bubonic plague or the well-known Asian Longhorn Beetle, which has infested trees in America and is eating them from the inside, destroying the ecosystem and overall natural state of the country.

Spotted Lanternflies are similar to invasive species pushovers in that they eat fruit for its nutrients, which is why they have been scouring America’s orchards. Eventually, the lanternflies will lay their eggs within host trees for the next generation in America. Such behavior from this plant hopper can cause major problems for farmers and community, which would eventually lead to a shortage of fruit and more dead trees in the future.
