  3. Oppression in cultural appropriation
  4. The result of cultural appropriation is caused by an oppressor
  5. Cultural appropriation is the result of a dominant culture taking credit from the inferior culture.
  6. A non-dominant culture has a history of hardship; when the superior culture takes credit for its traditions, it results in cultural appropriation.

    I completely support research into the topic of Cultural Appropriation, Miliwawa. I will caution you, though, that the subject is squishy and hard to pin down. Others before you have tried, and the results have not been stellar. For example:

    Natural Language

    I am not trying to dissuade you. There are serious claims to be made about dominant cultures colonizing, appropriating, exploiting subordinate cultures. Make those claims and support them rigorously.

    I’d be delighted to have a conversation about this when you’ve begun your research. You’ll certainly find no shortage of sources with their minds made up.
