My hypothesis- Queenrandom

1. Policing in America

2. Violence and blindness to violence with policing in America

3. The effect of policing in America is the cause of violence and the police’s habits to excuse the violence they inflict

4. The gang like loyalty and indoctrination required to become a police officer causes police to believe they are above the law rather than enforcers of it.

5. Eliminating policing as it exists would lower the violence the police inflict. If you prevent the police from being brainwashed into believing a career is their identity. Less people would lose their moral objectivity.

6. Changing the way police are able to police you would take away their power. They lose their need to be a gang and it decreases the violence inflicted on the average person.

My hypothesis – Water

  1. Privacy concerns
  2. Use of facial recognition/other methods security methods
  3. Rates of how often cyber security gets breached and information get stolen
  4. The flexibility of different kinds of security methods invite hackers to get creative and gives more options to secure personal information and data.
  5. Facial recognition is not 100% accurate and can produce false positives, leading to innocent people being accused of crimes along with technology that can lead to biometric data being stolen and misused
  6. The widespread implementation of facial recognition technology in cybersecurity poses significant threats to privacy and civil liberties, as well as the potential for bias and misuse by private companies and government agencies; therefore, limiting security could be better for the sake of communities/the people.
