Money seems to have a big role in our society, we can’t do much without it. Even when we don’t see money physically sometimes, it’s still valuable in different ways. In today’s society we must have faith in the government and the banking system that our money is being handled properly. Otherwise we will be hiding our money  under our mattresses or somewhere around the house. I never really had a clue what happens in the banks, and how they take care of our money. The concept of money was quite simple to me; either we have it or we don’t. However, by being introduced to this assignment and comparing the Yap Fei with the US and France gold trade in 1933, and the Brazilian cruzeros all seemed somewhat similar. No one actually sees their money being transferred. When we get paid we don’t receive check or cash, instead our money directly gets transferred to our bank account.

Money is of exceeding importance in our culture; without it, nothing gets done. It retains its value even in the abstract, and it is often abstracted to nothing more than a tally. Naturally we put a lot of faith in the banking system to ensure that our tally is tallied correctly. Prior to this assignment, I thought money was simple: you either had it or you didn’t. I wasn’t privy to the inner workings of the banking system or how they ensure that your money is kept straight. However in working on this assignment, and in comparing the Yap Fei to the intercontinental gold trade and to other currencies such as the Brazilian cruzero, I’ve learned that currency is all very similar; because nobody sees their money bring transferred, we have to trust things like our paycheck coming through.

Money seems to have a huge impact in our society; we can’t do much or get far if we don’t have any. Money is valuable in different ways, even when it is not visable. In today’s society we must believe in the government and the banking system, or else we would all be hiding our money under our mattress, or around the house. I am clueless about what happens in the banks and how they take care of our money. I always just thought money was simple concept, either we have it or we don’t. However, by being introduced to this assignment and having it compare the Yap Fei with the US and France gold trade in 1933, and the Brazilian cruzeros, it made me realize all types of currency are somewhat similar. No one actually sees their money being transferred. When we get paid, we don’t usually get a check or cash, it all gets directly transferred to our bank account, and we just have to trust that we recieved more money.

Money seems to have a big role in our society; we can’t do much or get far if we don’t have any of it. Money is valuable in different ways, even when it’s not visible. In today’s society a person must have faith in the government, the banking system and that money is being handled with in the proper manner. Without this faith people would be hiding all of their money under the mattresses , or around the house. I never really have a clue what happens in my bank, and how they take care of my money. Edited Post: Not much can be accomplished in our society without money because of its overwhelming influence and value, the latter of which is only sometimes apparent. In today’s society, much faith is placed in the government and banking system, that money is being handled with proper care. Without this blind trust, money would commonly be hidden in personal safes and private locations. I always thought money was simple; we either have it or we don’t. However, after being introduced to this assignment where the Yap Fei is compared to the US and France gold trade in 1933 as well as the Brazilian cruzeros, money seems similar all around. Not one of us actually sees our money being physically obtained, instead when we get paid, our check is directly transferred to our bank account. We trust that we have been properly reimbursed for our work.

Money seems to play a major role in western society; without it one cannot get very far. Money carries a value that reaches beyond the physical representation of it. It is actually considered irresponsible to horde it all. One needs to have faith in their government and banking systems to handle their money properly. Otherwise, it would be subject to treatment such as being stored under a mattress. However, it is blind faith, people get paid through direct deposit and just assume everything will work out, and many have no clue what the banks actually do with their money beyond this.

Money appears to have a large role in our society; without it, a lot is out of reach. It is valuable in various ways, even when we can not physically see it. In modern society, we are to have blind faith in the government and the banking system. We have faith that our money is being handled in the proper manner. If this was not so, then we would all be hiding money under our mattresses. Although, I have no clue what happens in the banks or how they take care of our money. I had believed money was a simple concept, that we either have some or do not. However, upon reading this assignment and comparing the Yap Fei with the US/France gold trade in 1933 and the Brazilian cruzeros, it all appeared similar. No one actually sees their money being transferred when we get paid; we do not get a check or even cash. It is all directly transferred to our bank accounts, and we simply have to trust that we received more money.

Money seems to have a big role in our society; we can’t progress forward as a nation in a nation full of debt. Money is valuable in different ways, even when we don’t see it physically. In today’s society it is key to have faith in the government and in the banking system. We need to have faith that our money is being handled the right way. If there is no faith then there is no reason to put our money in the government’s hands. We are better off just keeping our hard earned cash stored away in a mattress or hidden in our house. I never really have a clue what happens in the banks, and how they take care of the nation’s money. I always just thought money was quite simple; we either have some or we don’t, that’s it. However, by being introduced to this assignment and having it compare the Yap Fei with the US and France gold trade in 1933, and the Brazilian cruzeros all seemed somewhat similar. No one actually sees their money being transferred. When people in our society get paid, it is not a payment through a check or even in cash, it’s all directly transferred to a bank account, and an account that forces the people to trust that you got more money.

Currency has such a big role in our society that not much can happen without it. Money is valuable in different ways, even when it physically can’t be touched. In today’s society we must have faith in the government and banks that our money is safe. People need to know their money is being handled with the proper manner. In a case where they do not then there would be no faith in the banking system and citizens would keep their money away from banks. Many do not know how the bank handles their money behind the scenes. The assignment on Stone Money revealed the similarities between the currencies around the world.

Money, without which nothing gets done, drives our society. Money is valuable in different ways, even when we don’t see it physically. In today’s society we are not hiding our money under our mattresses, rather we have faith in the government and banks. I’ve never learned how banks can be so efficient with our earnings. I always just thought money was quite simple; we either have some or we don’t, that’s it. However, I have learned that the Fei’s Yap, the US and France gold trade in 1933, and the Brazilian Cruzeros all seem similar, because of being introduced to this assignment. One similarity is that we must trust the system. No one witnesses their money being put into an account or taken out to pay for a bill. It’s a faith system and we all trust that our money is being taken care of.
