    A few notes:
    1. This should be called My Hypothesis—jonnyb25
    2. You’ll notice a little footnote below your post that says, “You Forgot to Categorize!”
    3. That’s because you didn’t categorize.
    4. That means after your post leaves the Recent Posts list in the right-hand sidebar, we won’t be able to find it.
    5. So, open the post in Edit (that’s another link below your post) and add it to the “My Hypothesis” category and the “jonnyb25” category.
    6. This is not a Hypothesis you’ve written. It’s a question. Hypotheses, phrased as very specific, very dynamic bold claims, are statements you propose to research, to discover whether or not they’re true. Your vague suggestion that technology will “change” education doesn’t begin to qualify as a bold declaration.
    7. You didn’t put your post into the “Feedback Please” category.
    8. While you’re catching up on the weeks of background you’ve missed, you need feedback from your extraordinarily generous professor to help you backfill our procedures, groundrules, working techniques.
    9. Welcome to class.
    10. Start running.
    🙂

Thanks for your first round of revisions, jonny.
I see you posted to the right categories and changed your 6 from a question to a statement.
You didn’t change the name of your post, so I did that for you. It’s now called “My Hypothesis—jonnyb25.” All posts will be named this way, with the name of the assignment and your username.

Most important, though, your proposed Hypothesis: Modern technologies will change the way of teaching, is still WAY TOO BROAD AND VAGUE to qualify as a premise for just 3000 words. You and I both know a paper on this broad a topic could be written in a couple of hours with almost no meaningful research. It does not need to be proved, since no thinking person would contradict it.

If you told me technology in the classroom would forever change the physical structure of students’ brains and create a super-race of scary mutants, that might still be too broad, but it would qualify as something that needed to be demonstrated.

See the difference? I’ll be looking for something narrow, tangible, arguable, and compelling when your Hypothesis migrates to your White Paper.

If you’ve done that, you don’t need to revise this post, but I do expect you to respond to show your respect for the feedback process. Thanks!
